Anaheim Park Hotel

The Anaheim Park Hotel makes a trip to Disneyland complete.   It is easy to find, offers free shuttle service to Disneyland and the surrounding five miles, has spacious three star rooms and some of the best rates in the area.  Even if a trip to Southern California does not include the Disneyland Theme Park, a stay at the Anaheim Park Hotel will refresh the weary traveler or provide a central base to much of what the area has to offer.

Location is everything, especially when traveling in an unfamiliar area.  The Anaheim Park Hotel is easily reached from Interstate 5 and the 91 Freeway.  Once there, parking is free and includes parking for RV’s.  The hotel provides free shuttle service to Disneyland and the surrounding five miles.

Downtown Fullerton is within five miles of the hotel.  Visit the art galleries, enjoy a meal at a sidewalk café and then hop on the shuttle for a free ride back to a spacious room.  There are also various entertainment venues in downtown Fullerton to explore as well as a smorgasbord of restraints.

Other places to see include Universal Studios Hollywood and downtown L.A.  There are three beaches nearby, Huntington, New Port and Long Beach and there are shopping centers galore.  The Orangefair Shopping Mall has the Disney Wholesale Store.

Back at the hotel, guests can enjoy 287 full service rooms.  The lobby is decorated with various works of art to admire. Wireless internet is available anywhere in the hotel for $9.95 a day.  There is an outdoor pool and bar.  Inside, guests can enjoy a game room and a fitness room.  The Twin Palms restaurant serves breakfast and lunch while the adjacent lounge serves dinner and cocktails.  Concierge service and tour assistance is available for those who need them.

The rooms are bright and spacious and include a coffee maker and cable TV.  Refrigerators are available upon request.  Most rooms average $80 a night for two people.   Roomsaver.com had a coupon for as little as $59 a night.

The Anaheim Plaza Hotel may be confused with the Anaheim Park Hotel but not for long.  The Anaheim Plaza Hotel is located directly opposite the Disney entrance.  It is a two-story hotel with outside hallways and no elevators.  It costs about the same as the Anaheim Park Hotel but does not offer as many amenities.
